AWANA

AWANA is a Bible-centered, youth-oriented, club program. AWANA has a two-fold purpose:

1) to reach into the community to non-Christian boys and girls to bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and
2) to teach boys and girls to hide the Word of God in their heart.

AWANA (and Truth & Training for older kids) runs from September through May from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. We encourage all boys and girls to join. The games are exciting, the challenge received from the Bible memorization is rewarding, and the opportunity to learn and apply God's Word is profitable. Preschoolers' Gym Time

Open play in our gym on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 - 11:00 am from February 23 until April 6. No gym days on March 9 and April 13 due to our MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) monthly program. Bring your child and a toy (riding toy, ball, trucks, etc) to share. Light refreshments served.

Sunday School

Children meet in graded classes taught by caring, qualified teachers. Our staff features young and older teachers, who have much experience teaching and applying God's Word to students. Children's Sunday School combines fun learning experiences with practical truths. The kids of First Central love Sunday School!

Junior Church

If your child is between age 4 and Grade 3, Junior Church is where they will want to be. Junior Church is available at the 11:00 am Worship Service. Children are directed to Room 211 after the Ministry of Music portion of our service. We love children here at First Central and consider it a privilege to provide loving care and Bible learning experiences for our children in an atmosphere where “kids can be kids”. The goal of Junior Church is to encourage our children to focus on the one most important thing in life, a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Every session in Junior Church helps our children focus on this “1 thing”, a growing relationship with Jesus. We use hands on activities to discover the adventure of applying God’s truth to their everyday lives. Contact Ministry Leader

Nursery

Our goal is to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for children up to four years of age so that parents may enjoy their time in the Lord's House. We offer infant and toddler facilities on the ground floor. The nursery is open during Sunday morning and Wednesday evening church activities. The room is equipped with age-appropriate toys and bathroom facilities. Contact Ministry Leader
